Our family, the story of our house. Why Shalom?
OUR FAMILY
Vlado, Zuzka, Kubo, Maťo, Božka, Anička. We are all involved in tourism.
Father – Vlado studied tourism at university. He was the mayor of Smrečany for 16 years and now he is dedicated to our guests.
Mama – Zuzka worked in the largest and then most expensive hotel in Mikuláš, Jánošík, in the years 1990-1993 and now, since the end of the last millennium, she is fully dedicated to the guests in our holiday home.
As true Lipt people, we keep chickens, goats, two goats and we also have a dog named Rocky.
The eldest, Jakub, a Slovak representative in ski mountaineering, is engaged in hiking and cycling in addition to skiing. (http://jakubsiarnik.sk)
The second Matej completes the tourist business of B.Bystrica, but also works in the travel agency Satur in Bratislava. He works in the office, but also as a guide and delegate.
Božka is already independent. He lives in Liptov and travels a lot. Before she came to us, she went through 3 children´s homes.
And the youngest, Anička, you will meet her while cleaning around the guesthouse.
So we have tourism in our blood, we understand you and we want you to feel good with us and remember your vacation well…

The story of our house
Where did you actually come from? In the past, where you spend your vacation, things have happened that sometimes had an impact on the wider environment than our village.
WHY SHALOM?
The Hebrew word for "shalom" is perhaps best known as a greeting wishing for peace. We can translate shalom in many ways. Choose from the following biblical vocabulary meanings: Peace, contentment, perfection, something finished, happiness, harmony, harmony, trust, mutual security, business success, wishing for God's blessing, offering God's salvation, a state of soul that is right and it is transformed by God's grace. What more could you want in this hectic world today, especially on vacation? We wish you all this in words, greetings or wishes SHALOM!
